Designer and Antique Jewellery proves strong during September 2022 auction

Our recent 14th September 2022 auction was enormously successful with strong prices achieved across all department.

The Jewellery section of the sale drew interest from across the globe, with high prices for fine jewellery and diamonds. Important designer jewellery lots exceeded their estimates with a late 19th century multi-gem set enamel brooch pendant/ brooch by important Italian jewellery designers Carlo and Arthur Giuliano selling for £8,500 (+BP) (against an estimate of £2,000 - 3,000)

and a 20th century gem set brooch in the form of a bird by Cartier achieving £7,000 (+BP) (against an estimate of £4,000 - 6,000). A large diamond 3.39ct single stone ring within a Garrard & Co box selling for £27,000 (against an estimate of £12,000 - 18,000).

Within the Antique Jewellery section of the auction an early 19th century enamel and yellow Demi parure sold for £6,000 (+BP) (against an estimate of £1,000 - 2,000), an early Victorian conch pearl and enamel ring sold for £1,350 (+BP) (against an estimate of £400 - 600), a Victorian diamond set star brooch sold for £2,600 (+BP) (against an estimate of £800 - 1,200) and a a mid/ late 18th century masquerade ring sold for £4,000 (+ BP) (against an estimate of £2,000 - 3,000).
