Overview

Our quarterly Collectors Auction showcases a diverse and unique range of rare memorabilia and collectibles, including highly sought-after rock and roll memorabilia, film props, sporting artefacts, and political ephemera. Each sale brings together exceptional items with fascinating provenance, attracting collectors and enthusiasts from across the UK and around the world.

With more than two decades of television and auction industry experience, Catherine Southon has built an extensive international network of media and press contacts. Many of the remarkable items sold in our memorabilia auctions have generated significant global press coverage. One notable highlight was a pair of sunglasses gifted by John Lennon, which achieved an impressive £40,000 (+BP) and attracted widespread international attention.

Among Catherine’s personal favourite discoveries was an original Willy Wonka chocolate bar film prop. Despite containing no chocolate - only a simple piece of cardboard - it captured the imagination of collectors and ultimately sold for an incredible £13,000 (+BP), demonstrating the strong demand for authentic film memorabilia and movie props.

We have also successfully presented a single-owner collection of transport memorabilia and historic London signage.These rare pieces of urban history and heritage design generated international interest and competitive bidding from collectors as far afield as Australia, ultimately concluding in a coveted ‘white glove’ auction, where every lot was sold.
