We are committed to championing female artists, such as Tracey Emin, Elizabeth Frink and Barbara Hepworth. A significant highlight includes a painting by Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, which achieved £900 (+BP) at auction.

Prints, Multiples and Exhibition Posters

Our Modern & Contemporary Art Department also specialises in limited edition or original prints, multiples, and exhibition posters. From Picasso, to Chagall, Eric Ravilious and David Hockney, they attract strong bidding from collectors seeking accessible yet investment-worthy works.

One of our standout results was a screenprint of ‘Four Soup Cans’ by Banksy, which realised £31,000 (+BP). Interest in Lowry prints also continues to grow steadily; a two-tone lithograph signed by the artist hammered at £8,500 (+BP).
