We are delighted to announce that Royal Interest lots from our forthcoming 5th April Collectors sale have been featured in newspapers, across England, Scotland and Ireland.
The articles highlight two pieces from the personal collection of Joseph Nesbit. Nesbit was a chauffeur for the Royal Family and accompanied them on royal tours, most notably to in Rhodesia 1921 to 1952, with Edward VIII (the then Prince of Wales).
Nesbit had a friendly relationship with the Royals and was personally gifted two historic items - a gold Prince of Wales feathers tie pin, and the royal standard of the Queen Mother.
