Single-owner collection of 20th-century colour Venini glass from Italy was a highlight of September's auction.

Featured in the press – the Venini glass collection with a special feature in Homes & Antiques and the Richard Channing Collection of Decorative Arts.

Several of the signed Lowry prints which have been selling well in the auction room over the last few years have made it into the press and the Ceremonial funeral details and route maps of the State Funeral of the Late Sir Winston Churchill were much discussed.  

Unique Star Wars memorabilia, part of the Stuart Freeborn collection of make-up related items from The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, attracted much interest.
